At W.K. Phipps, Inc. we strive for designs that will stand the tests of time in both the quality of the build and the architectural style.
Will Phipps founded W.K. Phipps, Inc. in 2011 and has been building homes in the Charlotte area since 2006. Inspiration for our homes comes from many old southern neighborhoods and old European architectural styles. Combining the right amount of contemporary design and floor plans with traditional architectural styles is something we try to achieve in each home. As the Charlotte market continues to grow and change, it allows us as luxury builders to push the limits of homes in our beautiful city. We strive to combine the best designs with the best materials and features we can dream up. And as our partners continue to invent it allows us to be more creative to integrate new technology into our homes. The end product is a well designed and built product that we think you’re going to love.
We focus on speculative luxury homes in Charlotte’s best neighborhoods. This means that we work together with our architects to design and then build homes to be sold during or after the build process is completed. We are not a traditional cost plus custom home builder. We have found over time that our process allows us to build the homes we love to build and still allows the buyers to make selections and choose finishes that fits their family. We truly love what we do here and take a tremendous amount of pride in the product that we sell. And this process allows all of that to work. So, while we often get requests for custom cost plus build projects we do not take on these types of project anymore.
Our homes are most often built on lots that require tear downs of older homes in established neighborhoods. So, if you are considering selling an older home that we may be interested in then please reach out. We are always looking for new lots for our projects and many are acquired from people contacting us directly when they are ready to sell, avoiding the real estate listing and showing process. W.K. Phipps, Inc. has built homes in some of Charlotte’s favorite neighborhoods including Myers Park, Foxcroft, Old Foxcroft, Pharr Acres, Dilworth, and on Lake Norman.
